Registration for MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) Admissions for the session 2016 has started. Aspirants who are keen in getting MDS admission in any reputed college can approach to the college directly or through us.

Eligibility for MDS Admission:
- A candidate, who has successfully passed final BDS examination from a recognized Dental College, according to the syllabus included in the schedule of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1948.
- A candidate, who has successfully completed one year compulsory rotatory internship or going to complete on or before 31st March of the admission year.
- A candidate, who had obtained registration certificate either, from the Dental Council of India or from the State Dental Council.
Duration of MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) course is of 3 years. MDS course is offered by many Dental Colleges in India but the numbers of seats are very limited. So, most of the colleges book the seats for MDS course in advance on first come first serve basis on a condition that if a student qualifies the entrance test, he/she will get the admission otherwise next student in the queue is given admission.

Last Date of MDS Admission:
As per the guidelines of the Dental Council of India, all MDS admissions in all dental colleges of the country must be completed by 31st May every year. No admission(s) shall be made beyond 31st May. Mid-term admissions are also not allowed in any case.
The last date of the admission may change. Please confirm from the colleges or check DCI Notifications issued in this regard from time to time.
Career after Successful Completion of MDS Course:
As per the WHO recommendations, the dentist and general population ratio is much less in India. This helps up a lot in providing a wide area for fresh post graduates to setup their own practice successfully.
A dental health care provider can serve the public through government hospital setup, corporate hospitals, by setting up a private clinic or a nursing home. The dentist can join a community health service or a charitable hospital as well to reach out to the maximum people.
A dentist can even go for higher studies in India and abroad such as PhD. He can also join the management field by pursuing Hospital management and join the administrative posts in corporate hospitals.
