The
ever-increasing awareness for dental care both in rural and urban India has led
to a proportional increase in demand for well-equipped dental facilities and
skilled dental professionals.
In
2004, a group of like-minded dynamic individuals, specialists in their own
fields, came together with a common vision to contribute their best to help
bridge this gap between demand and supply. Barfani Academia was formed and the
foundation for starting a Dental College in Bilaspur was laid.
A
state-of-art dental health care and education facility was installed on the
outskirts of Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh state known as New Horizon Dental College
and Research Institute (NHDCRI).
NHDCRI
was started with a commitment to provide quality education, patient care and
research. It was incidentally the first and only institute in this part of
Chhattisgarh state dedicated to field of dentistry.
