Balaji dental college is a division of Joginpaly Bhaskar Rao Educational
Society started by beloved late chairman Mr. Bhaskar Rao. The dental college in
unique in terms of infrastructure & faculty and is strategic located close
to cosmopolitan city of Hyderabad. The institution was initiated by with the
vision of imparting high quality education providing world class dental
treatments to the rural population. The institution offers a Bachelor of Dental
Surgery Course with an annual intake of 100 students. It is affiliated to Dr.
NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Evidence based teaching,
imparting practical and clinical skills in the curriculum makes Sri Balaji
Dental College as Centre for excellence in field of dentistry. Learning by
Group discussions and Seminars interspersed with the conventional didactic
lectures as meticulously designed by the DCI.
The
Dental Education Unit of the college is ever busy in churning out material for
electronic teaching designed for interactive sessions and integrated approach
in teaching of various subjects in every phase of the course. State of art
preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations.
The
inherent talents of the students in cultural, literary and Sports fields are
not only exploited but given a fillip by including extracurricular activities
in the academics making the 120 acres campus a wonderful place to spend their
leisure time.
