Ramachandra
Educational Trust is starting a new dental college in the name and style of
“Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College” for the academic year 2014-2015, situated
at Pondy-Villupuram Main Road, Ariyur, Puducherry, with the soul ambition of improving
dental education for the overall progress of the community.
The
undergraduate (BDS) Programme of 4 years followed by 1 year internship will
lead to completion of BDS degree. For teaching and training in Pre-clinical,
Para clinical, allied Medical Sciences, in our own medical college hospital,
“Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre” which is 750
bedded Hospital will be utilized. Dental college has been permitted with an
annual intake of 100 students every year by ministry of health and family
welfare, Government of India and approved by Dental council of India and
affiliated to Pondicherry University.
